Dr. Jérôme Paggetti, head of the Tumor Stroma Interactions group (18 lab members) and is Deputy Director of the Department of Cancer Research (>100 people, 11 research groups, 2 platforms) at the Luxembourg Institute of  Health, and has more than 20 years of experience in cancer research, more particularly in leukemia/lymphoma. His research focuses on the dynamic interactions between malignant B cells and their microenvironment, through extracellular vesicles notably. His research aims to uncover novel (immuno)therapeutic strategies (immune checkpoint blockade, extracellular vesicle, Tregs, mRNA translation, metabolism) by leveraging patient samples and murine pre-clinical models.
